Originally from Alpharetta, Brittany pursued her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Augusta University, fueled by summers spent working alongside her aunt, a dentist in Minnesota. Inspired by the preventive aspect of dental hygiene, Brittany found her calling in the field.
Her journey back to Alpharetta was driven by a longing for the energy of a larger city. Since joining Peachtree Smile Center, Brittany has been committed to providing gentle care and understanding to patients, particularly those with dental anxiety. Her proudest moment came when a patient expressed gratitude for her compassionate approach, leading to the development of personalized care plans to ensure comfort and continuity of treatment.
Beyond her work, Brittany finds joy in culinary pursuits, exploring nature through hiking, and embarking on new travel adventures. With a blend of professional dedication and personal interests, Brittany embodies the values of holistic wellness and care both in and out of the dental office.
McKenzie is a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist at Peachtree Smile Center, with roots that stretch from a small town in Southwest Virginia to the bustling streets of Atlanta. Having moved to Atlanta at a tender age of six months, she considers herself a true native of the city. She pursued her passion for dental hygiene at Athens Technical College in Athens, GA, where she earned her degree before returning to Atlanta to embark on her professional journey.
McKenzie’s journey in dentistry began in 2016 when she started as a dental assistant while preparing for entry into dental hygiene school. Her love for educating patients about the vital role of oral health in overall well-being ignited her passion for the field. As a dental hygienist, McKenzie cherishes the opportunity to connect with patients on a personal level, building meaningful relationships while ensuring their oral health needs are met with compassion and expertise.
For McKenzie, the moment she knew she had found her calling was when she realized the genuine joy and fulfillment she experiences in her work. Surrounded by colleagues and patients with hearts as big as hers, she feels fortunate to be part of a community dedicated to restoring confidence and smiles. Beyond her professional endeavors, McKenzie finds joy in spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors with her boyfriend, and honing her culinary skills as the designated cook of her household. Her commitment to continued learning is evident in her pursuit of board certification as a local anesthesia administrator, reflecting her dedication to excellence in her field.
Eileen is a compassionate Dental Assistant at Peachtree Smile Center, where she brings warmth and dedication to her role. Originally from Gainesville, Florida, and her journey into the dental industry was sparked by her desire to transform negative dental experiences into positive ones. After spending two years as a pre-K teacher, Eileen pursued her passion for dentistry by enrolling in the Dental Careers Institute and furthering her education at Hinman Dental Continuing Education in Atlanta. Her decision to move to Atlanta was driven by a longing to be closer to family and pursue her career aspirations in a vibrant city.
Eileen’s favorite aspect of her work is the opportunity to connect with patients, earn their trust, and help them achieve beautiful smiles. Her commitment to patient care stems from her own childhood experience at the dentist, motivating her to ensure that others feel comfortable and supported during their dental visits. She finds immense satisfaction in knowing that she can make a positive difference in people’s lives by providing them with quality dental care and fostering a welcoming environment at Peachtree Smile Center.
Outside of work, Eileen treasures spending time with her son, who she considers her greatest achievement. Together, they enjoy exploring nature through activities like hiking, visiting the lake, and discovering new parks. Their shared love for adventure and making memories adds richness to their lives outside of the dental office, reinforcing Eileen’s belief in the importance of holistic well-being and enjoying life to the fullest.
Donna serves as the Business Administrator at Peachtree Smile Center, bringing with her over three decades of experience in the dental industry. Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, Donna’s journey in dentistry began unexpectedly when a friend, who was a dentist in Florida, invited her to join his practice. Since then, she has immersed herself in the field, continually expanding her knowledge through various educational avenues, including St. Petersburg College Continuing Education, Nash Institute, DOMA, Hinman Courses, AACD, and numerous CE lectures.
For Donna, the allure of the dental industry lies not only in the intricacies of business administration but also in the profound connections she forms with patients. Over her 32-year career, she has encountered countless individuals who have left a lasting impact on her life, reinforcing her passion for patient interaction and education. Donna cherishes the opportunity to engage with patients daily, sharing her knowledge and helping them understand the importance of oral health.
Three years into her career, Donna realized that she had found her true calling in dentistry. Balancing responsibilities in the front office and assisting the doctor, she felt a sense of fulfillment and purpose that affirmed her choice of profession. Outside of work, Donna finds solace and fulfillment in her faith, having embraced Christianity in 2019 and achieving a personal milestone of being baptized in the Jordan River in 2021. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, indulging in dinner outings with friends, and exploring the world through travel. Donna’s days are made brighter by the presence of Genesis, her beloved cat, with whom she shares a special bond.
Andia brings her vibrant personality and diverse background to her role as Front Desk staff at Peachtree Smile Center. Originally from Albania, Andia moved to Atlanta during high school with her family, where she attended North Atlanta High School and later pursued studies in interior design at SCAD. Her transition to a new country was made smoother with the support of her cousins, who played a significant role in helping her adapt to her new surroundings.
Andia’s journey into the dental industry began with a passion for helping others, influenced by her upbringing in a small country. She found fulfillment in meeting and greeting patients, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and alleviating their dental anxiety. Through her work, she has successfully changed the mindset of friends and family regarding the importance of oral health, making a positive impact on their lives.
It became evident to Andia that she had found her calling in dentistry when she found herself constantly discussing the field and its advancements. Inspired by the commitment and patient care demonstrated by Dr. Babo, Andia strives to emulate her mentor’s dedication in providing exceptional care to patients. Outside of work, Andia enjoys spending time with her loving husband, family, and pets, including two fluffy dogs and a humorous parrot. Her infectious enthusiasm extends beyond the workplace as she seeks to bring joy and laughter to those around her through sports, arts, travel, and cherished moments with loved ones. Andia’s ultimate goal is to embody the strength and grace of the women who have influenced her life while continuing to embrace new challenges and adventures.
